I had a simple chord progression that I didn't know where to go with. So I tried translating it into the Fugue Machine and let it midi-control the OP-1. From there the rest of the first song "Ino" just fell into place.
Likewise the second piece "oo" came to me when its fragments fell into my hand like oddities found on an abandoned attic. They made so much sense together that I pushed against it, forcing an original composition, my own idea onto them, playing them in way that tries to tear them apart and eventually even cutting the cord at one point and kill the recording altogether.
I took this collage and treated it as what it is made of – as a sample.
A second voice in the background then differentiates two otherwise identical iterations of the forementioned recording for the final song.
